Carboxymethyl beta Cyclodextrin (carboxymethyl- β- Cyclodextrin) has low solubility in low pH solutions, but can be dissolved in neutral and alkaline solutions (pH>4) at any concentration, and its structure is loose, and its self mobility is greatly improved. It has good solubility in the environment of human intestinal pH 6-7, and can be used as drug prolonging release agent. It has lower hemolysis than hydroxypropyl beta Cyclodextrin.
